Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Vers.us mobile app and playvers.us (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vers.us. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Usernames that impersonate others or contain offensive content may be changed or removed.

2. Your content

You own the photos and videos you submit. By submitting content to a battle, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service so battles and voting can work. Battle entries are captured in a single take by design; submitting content you did not capture in-app, or content you don't have rights to, is prohibited.

3. Community rules

No illegal content or behavior, harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, or content that endangers anyone.
No cheating: no vote manipulation, multiple-account voting, or automated activity.
No infringing content — only submit what you have the right to share.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Content is subject to moderation, and users can report content in-app.

4. VersBucks (V$)

VersBucks are a virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. V$ cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash, and may be adjusted in cases of abuse or error. We may modify how V$ is earned or spent as the Service evolves.

5. Contests

From time to time we may offer contests that can be entered with V$, including contests with real-world prizes. Each contest may have its own official rules, eligibility requirements, and entry periods. Contests are void where prohibited by law.

6. Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions (such as Vers+) are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We'll post updates here with a new "Last updated" date.
